Park(ing) Day 2024: October 25th on Union Avenue!

I ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE THAT MAY RESULT FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN PARK(ING) DAY. I AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS THE ORGANIZER(S); ETN COMMUNITY DESIGN CENTER; THE CITY OF KNOXVILLE; AIA EAST TN, AND ANY OTHER COMPANY, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, OR AGENCY THAT IS PROMOTING OR PARTICIPATING IN PARK(ING) DAY. I AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS THEIR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN PARK(ING) DAY.

ADDITIONALLY, I AGREE TO:

• Take ALL necessary precautions to ensure that BOTH volunteers for and visitors to our temporary parklet will not become injured by our display, activities within our display, or traffic passing by

• Utilize our location in a responsible manner and operate our temporary parklet using reasonable safety precautions

• Safely maintain our temporary parklet throughout the duration of the day and not leave it unattended at any time

• Clean up and clear away all parts of our temporary parklet from its location, including from immediately adjoining sidewalks, curbs, and all other property adjoining our location, by time determined by organizers.

• I have read the guidelines set forth in The PARK(ing) Day Manual linked above and understand that any violation of tenants set forth may result in my forfiture of participating in the event.
